“Kaiseki Cuisine”

The history of kaiseki cuisine began in Kyoto as a meal served before the
tea ceremony. Originally it was a simple meal of “Ichijusansai”, a bowl of
soup and three kinds of dishes. But this food culture has been refined
while being given to nobles.
Japanese traditional dishes made with seasonal ingredients are served in
beautiful Japanese dishes and will come out one after another. Today it is
considered the finest art of Japanese cuisine.
