“Itadakimasu”

“Itadakimasu” is a Japanese greeting which is spoken before starting a meal.
It is a word that expresses appreciation. Thanking everyone who has contributed the meal, such as those who cooked and those who produced vegetables.
It is also a word of gratitude to the ingredients such as meat, fish, vegetables and blessings of nature that produced them.
